Poor Dudley

Good morning folks.
I am up extremely early this morning as poor Mr Dudley has to go to the vets for an operation.  He has a rather large hernia that needs repairing.
It's amazing how quick you become emotionally attached, I have been worrying about him all night, I think its going to be a rather stressful day.
He is sat at my feet, looking up at me with his cute squashed face, as if to say " hey mummy, you have forgotten to give me my breakfast" .

I stayed up quite late last night and have managed to finish another pair of booties, I am really enjoying making these at the moment.

Daisy green mary jane booties, perfect for Spring.

Hopefully I will get time to post later and give an update on Mr Dudley.

Speak soon xx

Sending Mr Dudley lots of hugs and you too. You do soon become very attached to your pets I cried when Dyl went to have his man parts chopped off and it actually took me by surprise. I am sure Dudley will be fine and soon up to mischief. Love the baby shoes. Hope all goes well.

I think it more stressful for the owner than the pet. I suffered terrible pangs of guilt when our pooch was speyed. I have to admit to shedding a tear or two! Dudley will be much better for his operation and in a day or two you will wonder why you worried so much. Take care Sue x

hmmm I just posted a comment and it doesn't seemed to have worked. ok take two then!
Thinking of you and Dudley and hoping he is better soon. Let us know how you go.
I love your new little spring booties, how tiny they are and such a lovely shade of green. It's been a while since my two had feet that small. too cute. I love your recent little bag creation as well, these are beautiful.

All my best for Dudley's quick recovery. He's young so he'll be back to his puppy little self in not time. My Squirt has had a small hernia since birth (now 2 yrs old), but we just monitor it with the vet as it hasn't become an issue. We worry about our dogs like our own children.
The booties are so sweet, as always your work is adorable. Happy Spring :-)
