Lu Lu ruffle flower hat

The sun is shining, hooray!!!

Well it is in sunny Nottingham, the only down side is it shows all the dirt and smears on your windows, oh well I just won't look.

Just a quick post today before I do the school run, wanted to share with you my little hat.

I have put this in my little folksy shop.
Decided to add  a little personal touch to my shop, from now on all items will be named from within the family. This is hat is Lu Lu  which is my pet name for Lucie.

The pattern for this flower came out of one of my Japanese crochet books, and took me most of last night to get right, but I am happy with the result.

Ooh look at the time, nearly 3 o clock , I had better clean up all the chaos that Isla-Rose has caused whilst I have been sat here, I'm sure she goes on a mission to destroy the house when she sees me turn on the laptop.

Speak soon xx

Oooh..just lovely, Jacey! I love the colors! Great work!
I always look the other way when I see something messy :p but somehow we are the only ones who has to clean them up sooner or later! 'Housework can wait', right??

Jacey I love your new Lu Lu hat, ditto to the other comments, your colours are lovely. The little scallop edge is very pretty too. As for the windows - you know as soon as you clean them they are going to be dirty before you know it. So I say why waste time doing that when you could be making pretty stuff. lol. Have a lovely day.

I like the colors you used! Yesterday was drizzly around here -- our windows are always grimy! Too hard to keep them clean so I gave up. Hope you have a terrific Thursday! Tammy

Such delicious colours Jacey, your Lu Lu hat has a real vintage look about it. What yarn did you use, it looks super soft xox
