Orange flower hat.

Hello lovelies, hope you all had a fantastic weekend.

Let me share with you what I have been up to this week....

What do you think ? I'm really pleased with it and love the colours, but I'm not sure if its a bit to much though.  I have had a folksy shop for a while but have never really had the time to do much with it, I'll be honest I have only listed 3 pairs of baby slippers  ( 2 sales, poor I know).  I have been toying with idea of making some more bright colourful hats and adding them to my shop, please be honest and let me know if I am wasting my time.

I have been lucky again this week and have recieved another award, thankyou so much Stitch of Love

Right are you ready for this, 7 interesting things about me !!

  • I am terrible in the kitchen, I hate cooking, luckily my hubby thinks he is Jamie Oliver.  I try to bake with the children and quite enjoy this, mainly becuase I love the taste of cake mixture..yummy.
  • I have always had a soft spot for pigs and am trying to convince hubby in to letting me have one as a pet, one of those little tiny ones so it can live inside, I even have a name for him..Dudley the pig !
  • For the past few months when I close my eyes at night I see wool , I realise this probably makes me quite sad.
  • We have just treated ourselves to a new tent ( with carpet !!) which arrived this week, I'm very excited about  trying out my new holiday home, roll on spring. I'm thinking it may need bunting and twinkling lights.
  • I buy too many magazines, Ideal Home, House Beautiful, Country Living ....the list goes on.
  • Apart from chocolate my favourite nibble at the moment are Tyrells vegetable crisps, especially the parsnip ones, I try to avoid the beetroot crisps as I then spend the day with purple teeth.
  • My ultimate dream would be to have a craft/ coffee/ tea shop by the coast, only sweet snacks could be served though as this is all I can make !

Now I've made myself sound like a right raving loony !!

I realise that this award is doing the rounds at the moment and everyone in blogland is receiving this at the moment, making this very hard to pass on to someone who hasn't had it, so here are a few to keep the ball rolling...

Thats me done for today, speak soon xxx

Oops forgot to mention the rules of receiving the award,: Tell the world 7 interesting facts about yourself and pass the award onto other deserving blogs.

Oh a lovely hat definitely make more of them to sell.
I too get too many magazines but this year I am cutting back and only getting ones with freebies!
My ultimate aim in life is to have a tea room/bistro, my husband is a chef and it would be great to work together x

I love that hat! And you don't sound like a raving loony, just someone who enjoys her crafts. As for the tea shop by the coast, mine would be a tea shop in the Scottish Highlands, but otherwise - snap!
Thank you so much for my award too - my blog is only just getting going so I don't really feel like I deserve it! Sorry if this is a silly question, but what do I actually do? Do I copy the image onto my blog, do the 7 interesting facts and then pass it on? I'm completely new to it (obviously!)

Thank you again though xx

I have no doubt that your crochet hats would sell, I love the happy colour combinations. I think it might be an idea to make it even more stunning by sewing a sweet little button in the middle of the flower for some of the hats you make, just to create variety xox I would defnitely be a customer at your sea-side cafe ! Sounds just up my street xox

I love your hat, especially the colours. In winter you need to have some bright colours around and what better way than to have bright colours keeping your head warm. :)
Go for it!

Hullo Jacey, gosh, thank you for the award. Now onto your darling of a hat, my goodness, you HAVE to make more of these, of course they would sell. What lovely colours too. Your crochet is very neat. I know what you mean about selling items you have made. I am currently trying to work on the same thing myself, but lack of confidence and school holidays have limited my time to get them done. All the best with your little hats, I just know you will do well with them. Don't sell yourself short tho. Be proud of your work and honest in your pricing. Have a lovely day.

Congrats on another award! Well deserved. About making more hats to sell, I would say it is waisting your time to think about it; just do it. Your hats are so nice.

I think your hat is gorgeous, really beautiful. To be honest, if it was adult size, I would wear it (though preferably not in pink!), go on, list it, see what happens.
