Playing with cottons

Hope you all had a great weekend !

I managed to find some time to play with my new cottons.
I played about with some Spring inspired flower corsages.

This one has been pinned to my rain mac all weekend.

Inspired by the little crochet granny square bag over at The Royal Sisters  I decided last night to have a little go, but using a square found in one of my ever increasing pile of crochet books.

It's not quite finished yet, needs lining and handles, hopefully I'll find some time tonight as I'm itching to get it finished.

Another little hat to share with you also....

Speak soon... xx

You have been busy this weekend. I have started making things for the school summer fete, not my usual stuff but things that will sell because it's a school fete!
I received a package today. I think it is most prob from you as not expecting anything else but can't open envelope cause wont be able to stop myself. Brown envelope, quite squishy but with something hard in middle too. Which reminds me one of yours was breakable, the bigger one, well fatter one so was wrapped in lots of bubbles and dropped gently on my side to check it sounded well wrapped but please be careful opening it just in case.
Keep up the good work. . . :o)

I think the flowers work up beautifully in cotton. I have found the same. They are neater and the shape keeps just right. Beautiful!
