Royal Bunting

Spring is in the air ..almost..
As a family we have been thinking about camping trips with our new tent.. how exciting.
Our first trip will coincide with the  ' ROYAL WEDDING' , this got me thinking whether anyone else will do anything to celebrate, parties, bbq's etc..
BBQ = garden= bunting  =       ROYAL BUNTING !!!

Why it it so hard to take decent photo's of bunting ?

The next project is already in progress, my mum is decorating her spare room as a girls room for her 5 granddaughters, so a blanket is being made for the bed. Pictures will follow in my next post along with news of my very first giveaway.. eek.
If anyone can explain to me in very simple terms how I make one of those bloggy button thingys I would be very grateful.

Speak soon. xx

Very regal indeed!
Our first camping trip of the year will be the week before in our new tent too. Hope we won't take an age to put it up!!
For someone who says it's hard to photograph bunting, may I say you make it look easy and the bunting look gorgeous.

The bunting is beautiful!
For the bloggy button it's really easy,
1.from your dashboard select design
2.click on add a gadget
3.scroll down until you find picture ~click on the cross
4.type a title and caption
5.copy and paste your address from the header bar of your giveaway post
6.upload the image from your pc
7.save
You can then move it about by just clicking and dragging the box on the menu it goes back to.
Hope you work it out.

So pretty! Part of me feels sneary and cynical about the Royal Wedding- how much it's costing the taxpayer etc, but then I'm starting to take the attitude that we should all embrace it and muster up some retro enthusiasm for it- I'm torn! Here's the instructions I used when I did my giveaway button http://a-heart4home.blogspot.com/2009/04/blog-button-with-text-box-for-code.html

Love the bunting! I'm not a royalist and I really think they should be paying for this wedding out of their own personal fortunes, but it would be fun to have an old fashioned street party - I bet there is something going on in Sneinton that weekend.

It is very difficult to take pics of bunting. Yours is gorgeous, I love the red, white and blue.

Hi Jacey, thanks so much for visiting. I think your bunting is absolutely fab. Wills and Kate would be lucky to have such pretty decorations for their 'do'! Laura x
