All is well with Dudley.

Thank you for all the kind comments I received yesterday regarding Dudley, I am pleased to say he is almost back to his normal cheeky chappy self.
We had a bad night with him crying and I had to sleep downstairs with him, but he's gobbled his breakfast and right now he is having a mad moment racing round the room as fast as he can.

Now for a Ta dah moment..............
I started a cardigan a few months back, using a pattern from a King Cole pattern book, I started to struggle on one particular bit ,so it was soon popped in a bag and put to one side, but after a recent visit to town I was amazed to see how many crocheted cardigans, waistcoats and shawls there were, I found myself thinking " I could do that" as I walked around the shops. That evening I rescued my lonely cardigan and tried again, do you want to see? ...............................

I'm itching to make myself something else now, I might be fashionable in 2011 !!!

Speak soon xx

Hullo Jacey, oh wow, I love it. I love the pattern, I love the colour. This is beautiful, and I can see me wearing one of these in the classroom as the weather cools. Oh its lovely with jeans especially. Could I trouble you for pattern book info please, as I would love to have a go at this one. Thanks so much for sharing your little cardi, and gosh, I am so glad you finished it.

Hello Jacey

What a stunning crochet cardy, I love it! I am in desperate need to knit / crochet myself something to wear. It's my heart's desire / goal this year, just need to find the right pattern and confidence to do it. Really pleased that Dudley is back to his cheeky chappy self, he's adorable xox Just saw the colour of your cardy again and it's perfect for spring xox

Hey Well done! Great colour and love the buttons! So pretty! I have been looking for shrug/bolero patterns lately, but am not brave enough crochet myself a piece of clothing, scarfs and gloves are my limit! But you have inspired me to have a go!

Wow, it's lovely! The buttons really finish it off. I'll know who you are now if I see that cardigan around! I'm a bit scared to crochet clothes.
