A moment of weakness

Hello all,
Last Thursday I was overcome by a moment of weakness when Cath Kidston announced a special offer day, it would have been rude to not have a little peek , there's no harm in looking is there ?
I couldn't help but click " BUY " when I saw these enamel tin mugs, perfect for camping and they match perfectly with my picnic bag.

I have never been so excited about mugs before, sad I know !

I'm hoping to make a start on some bunting this weekend, to adorn my tent and then my log cabin. I have decided to use colours from the CK mug that the children bought me for Christmas, such pretty colours.

I can't wait to get started, just need to make a decision on what pattern to use. I am torn between the wonderful bunting by Bunny mummy or the equally gorgeous pattern by Crochet with Raymond . Decisions, decisions....

As well as spending far too much time on the Internet shopping for tin mugs, I have been working on some boys booties. I had been asked to make some booties similar to my Mary Janes but for a boy and came up with these....

I've also made a little newborn hat using front post double crochet stitch, as I love the way it looks.

I'll leave with you a few piccies of Dudley who has had his first big boy hair cut this week.

Speak soon xx

Don't you just love CK? I bought my Mum another bag last week for her birthday and was rather displeased to spot the discount day happening two days later - how typical!!

Crochet bunting is one of the things on my "To Do" list....

Love those CK goodies! Even my 12 year old daughter has got into CK and Im also responsible for getting my bestest friend's daughter into it as well by getting her a CK book for her birthday!!! Mind you, the best friend also feeds my habit, she bought me a pair of CK mugs!! So she only has herself to blame...

Jacey I think I enjoyed every photo you posted. The polka dot cups and bag are so cute, the colors for your bunting are perfect choices and the little flowered hat and the booties are so sweet...and when I scrolled down to Dudley I had to laugh out loud at his adorable face and his big boy haircut. Who couldn't love that dust mop!!

I am also a new follower - and loving reading over your posts! I have to say, I never really 'got' CK - but then at Christmas we were given 2 little CK mugs - and now I'm hooked! Very excited to hear from my mother in law that there is a CK outlet store near her (Cambridge)!!

I just happened upon your blog this morning and have been having an enjoyable look through your posts. I'm in love with these baby booties and was hitting "older post" a lot, hoping to find a pattern you might have shared. I saw your puppy in a different post, but in this post you offered his name. That stopped me dead in my tracks! I have a Dudley also! But he's an English Cream Retriever and MUCH larger than your adorable baby! Dudley is NOT a common name...how fun to see another! And those polka dot mugs...toooooo cute! I love polka dots! Have you shared your bootie pattern anyplace? If not, are you willing to share? I love the look of the FPDC effect! Hugs, Annette
