Hooray.... a new crochet book

Hello there !
At last it has arrived, the book I have been waiting 2 weeks for, Little Crochet by Linda Permann.
It has some very cute patterns in it, and even though I had several other projects on the go, I had to try something out of my new book.
I was instantly drawn to this cute cardigan....

Isla-Rose has plenty of plain cardigans, so I thought I would experiment with a purple, pink and green yarn. ( King Cole Riot )

I love it !!  I am so pleased with it.
I started it Thursday evening and stayed up until 1 'o clock , then got up Friday at 6.30 and finished it mid morning.
It was so enjoyable to make, I loved watching the colour change.

Also this week, I made a newborn hat, bootie and mitten set for a friend at my knit and natter group.

So cute !!

Well I'm off now, as I want to watch 'Camelot' a new series on channel 4.  I have a bottle of red wine and some chocolate muffins ( reduced at Tesco ), a perfect Saturday evening.

Speak soon xxx

These are so cute! My friend just had a baby boy and those wee booties are adorable. I'm loathed to try patterns like that because I'm so slow! I think I need to relearn how to crochet - a faster technique!

It's all cute! every single thing! I love the color changes in that cardigan, it looks just beautiful.

I think I'm going to have to order that book online, I still haven't been able to find it in store.

oh how wonderful, I somehow missed your last post. A very happy belated birthday to you and oh how wonderful your camping bunting. I love it. You know, I think I am going to have to make some bunting for our caravan now. Isn't it wonderful to go away with the family? As for your recent cardi, this is beautiful what a champion staying up to get it done. I love it. The colours are so pretty.

My you have been busy. I'd love to spend an evening with you, wine and crochet. Who could ask for more. :) My summer holiday has begun, so I hope to get more projects done and try new things. The little cardigan you made is so sweet. Not sure if I can tackle something like that though. :/ Have a great rest of the week. Tammy
