Pretty Jars

Thank you all you kind people for your positive feedback on my flower hat, and the encouragement to make a go of my Folksy shop.

With images and ideas of hats and booties whirring around my head all week, I decided that this weekend I would take some time out and do something quick and fun. Whilst blog surfing Friday evening I found a link on the Tangled Happy  blog for some crochet jar covers, the tutorial can also be found here at Nature nut notes, there's a link on their side bar.

The white yarn used on the tutorial looks beautiful when the jars are used as tea light holders, but I'm trying to add a little more colour to my home, so I wanted something brighter.
I took inspiration for the colours from my beautiful blinds....

and here they are.....

3 pretty jars, waiting to be used.

For today they will live together on my windowsill adding some much needed colour to another grey and drab day.

Speak soon xx

What a fun idea.
I was hoping for my boys to have a snooze this afternoon so I could do something creative but not a chance. Even the baby has only slept for an hr!
Take care. . .

Your colorful jar jackets turned out so beautifully. I did this once but they didn't fit quite right. Will have to give it another go. We had two gray days in a row but blue skies today. Yea! Wishing you blue skies and sunshine. Tammy

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment, you're a no reply blogger so I couldn't reply. I'm originally from Radcliffe-on-Trent but now I've bought a house in Sneinton - what about you? let me have your email address and we can compare craft shops!
